Web 2.0

OK. I've started working through SPL's 27 things. Things like blogs and Flickr frighten me because I feel like they reduce in-person contact. I'm going to learn more about Web 2.0 technologies so I can make well-informed judgements concerning them.

    I'm so happy that there are folks at SPL who are willing to lean into the discomfort of doing something new! Thank you for taking part! I bet you'll find that the stuff you'll learn about in this program doesn't reduce in-person contact anymore than the telephone did; it's just one more way of communicating with one another.
